Art is a dynamic and multi-faceted subject. Without it life as we know it would cease to offer the beauty, inspiration and insight we now enjoy. As a subject art takes on many forms, almost too many to mention in this brief space. Among them is the art of drawing, by definition "a representation of forms or objects on a surface by means of lines". For those who are not engaged in art or will soon assume the role of a young artist as a profession, this page will attempt to give a clearer understanding of the subject in it's many forms.
